Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
co|op Agent (“we”, “the assistant”) is an AI assistant that people use through Telegram. This policy explains what information it uses, why, and the control you have. We keep it short on purpose.
What we access
- Your messages to the assistant in Telegram, so it can understand and answer them.
- Google account (only if you connect it). Gmail: permission to create email drafts at your request. We do not send email, and we do not read, search or list your inbox. Google Calendar: access to view your events, to answer questions like “what’s on my calendar today?”, and to add an event only when you ask for one and say yes in the chat. Google words this permission as “view and edit events”; we never edit or delete an event you already have.
- GitHub (only if you connect it). Access to the specific repositories you choose, to read project files and open pull requests at your request.
- Agents you build. The job, the notes about your business and the schedule you type in when you set up an agent are saved so it can run. When an agent runs, it reads only the tools you gave it (for example today’s calendar or a spreadsheet you picked) and texts you a message. Delete an agent any time with
/agent delete. - Files the assistant creates for you (spreadsheets, text files, saved code changes) and basic usage counts used to apply fair-use limits.
How we use it
- Only to do what you ask, when you ask. Connected accounts are used when you ask, or on a schedule you set up yourself with an agent. You can pause or delete an agent at any time.
- Anything that changes something (a file, a draft, a pull request) is shown to you first and needs your explicit yes.
- We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles.
Where it is processed and stored
- Messages are understood by an AI model that runs on the computer hosting the assistant.
- For code changes only, your request and the one file being edited may be sent to a cloud AI provider. Businesses are asked for permission before this happens the first time.
- Information from your Google account is processed on the computer hosting the assistant and is not sent to cloud AI providers.
- Your connection credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). Recent chat context is kept in memory for about two hours to make follow-up questions work, and is erased when the assistant restarts.
Google API data
The assistant’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features you request, is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features or comply with law, is not used for advertising, and is not read by people except with your consent, for security, or to comply with law.
Website accounts and activity log
- If you have a login on this website, we store your email address and a sign-in session. Accounts are created by invitation.
- The assistant keeps an activity log so you can see what it did: for each action, the type of action, the time, whether it finished, how long it took, the name of the repository or file involved, and a short reason if it chose not to act.
- The activity log does not contain the text of your messages, the contents of emails or files, or your Google data.
- Each person can see only their own log. The log is stored with our database provider, Supabase.
Your control
- Send /disconnect in the chat to remove a connection and delete the stored credentials.
- You can also revoke access any time in your Google Account permissions or in your GitHub settings under Applications.
- To have your saved files and records deleted, email us at the address below.
Children
The assistant is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
